When you become an owner at the Deer Valley Club, you purchase a valuable real estate asset that can be easily re-sold or gifted, just like any other piece of property. Unlike conventional property ownership, however, the purchase price for an interest in the Deer Valley Club is more aligned with typical vacation usage. Ownership guarantees several winter and summer weeks in residence each year, plus unlimited access on a space-available and short-term basis with no additional costs. What’s more, should you ever decide to sell your interest, the Club offers a dedicated real estate sales team with a proven track record of resale success.
The Deer Valley Club offers desirable four-star services and amenities at a fraction of the cost of whole ownership residences. Available ownerships are for resale starting in the low $100,000’s. Owners receive guaranteed use of two weeks in the winter, two weeks in the summer, plus space available time. There is no limit to the amount of use. The only usage constraint is use by other owners. Policies allow owners to reserve vacations well in advance and also accommodates last-minute getaway decisions.
Deer Valley Club ownership is fractional or shared ownership. Undivided deeded interest in the Deer Valley Club provides ownership of all lodging and facilities with the right to use anytime, subject to reservation policies. Each owner has a fee simple, undivided deeded interest in all of the Club’s land, townhomes, clubhouse, amenities and underground parking, free of any debt. Additionally, the owners have an undivided interest in the Club’s furnishings and accessories. Title to real estate is evidenced by a special warranty deed which is recorded and clear title is guaranteed by a title insurance company.
The Deer Valley Club has 91 Club (two-bedroom) townhome ownerships, 78 Grand (three-bedroom) townhome ownerships and 26 Royal (four-bedroom) townhome ownerships for a total of 195 Owners. No additional ownerships can be sold. In addition, 25 Associate Ownerships granting use of the Club’s common areas will be offered. Associate Owners will pay annual dues that are applied to the Club’s general operating budget.
Owners are required to remit annual owner fees, which pay for the professional management of all the Club’s facilities and amenities. Included in these annual fees are funds for staff salaries, supplies, maintenance, window washing, trash removal, legal/accounting, fuel, utilities, property taxes, insurance, transportation and replacement and/or refurbishing of Club facilities.
Corporate Ownerships are also available, allowing more than one individual or family to have Club privileges. Corporate Ownerships can reserve three weeks of planned vacation periods in the winter and three weeks of planned vacation periods in the summer.
Owners can reserve any of the other types of townhomes, if their type is not available, subject to availability, for a nightly fee, with some restrictions.
The Deer Valley Club has been designed to equitably allocate peak period reservations when demand for lodging may exceed supply. A computerized rotating priority reservation system insures all owners will have equal access to peak-period lodging over the years.
Like any other form of real estate, the owner’s undivided deeded interest can be sold or transferred by the owner, or sold by a licensed real estate agent through the multiple listing service, subject to the Club’s Charter and Bylaws.

“This is the absolute answer to a dream! As long time skiers (both of us are in our 60’s), we can step out the door and be on the mountain without lifting a finger. The staff and service here are five-star. The ambience is simple but elegant. We so appreciate how we don’t have to give a thought to anything. Our kids and grandkids all come to join us at the Deer Valley Club. Each of our 10 grandchildren have gone through the fabulous Deer Valley Ski School. We love the fact the NO snowboards are allowed on the mountain.
